Xizhuweizhiqiu Cultural and Creative Park

The Tainan City Government renovated the historic site of the former Tainan Governor's Residence and the former Nan Yi Middle School staff dormitory complex into a tourist attraction. Located on the west side of the bamboo forest, it was called "West Bamboo Garden Street" during the Qing Dynasty and "Zhuyuan Town" during the Japanese colonial era. The entire "West Bamboo Garden Hill Cultural and Creative Park" is very Japanese in style, and the red brick square is also a major feature. The revitalized and reused historic park has housed more artisan studios, combining cultural creativity, art, courses and food. It is full of hipster flavor and often hosts a variety of activities and experiences. The park uses bamboo as an element to create several interesting installation arts that are perfect for taking beautiful photos for the internet.
