This is a seasonal tourist attraction that is very suitable for cycling and walking. There are farmlands on both sides and a whole row of kapok paths, both vertically and horizontally. The flower-viewing route is also protected and cars and motorcycles are prohibited from passing.
The air was fresh and the art installations on the side were particularly cute. As we walked, a melon farmer invited us to eat melons. It was the first time in my life that I ate Taiwanese melons, and they were even better than Hami melons.
The flowers scattered on the ground were also picked up and piled up into various patterns. This beautiful scenic spot that is not opened for commercial purposes is full of rural and cultural exploration.
As a half-Tainan native, this was the first time I knew about this scenic spot in my life. It wasn’t overly publicized, and although it was a holiday, there weren’t many tourists, so it wasn’t crowded and was particularly comfortable.
There are food stalls on one of the roads, but they are centralized and have trash cans, so there is no trash thrown around in the entire scenic area.
In the face-to-face transactions with these fruit farmers, you can experience the most genuine human touch, the price of a penny, and share their joy of harvest. It is a beautiful secret place worth visiting again and again.
