Chengda Banyan Garden: A Great Place for Family Outings on Campus

The century-old banyan tree at Chengda's Guangfu Campus is well-known due to Cathay Life Insurance's corporate identity. Strolling on the lush green lawn under the shade of these trees is quite relaxing, making it a great spot for family outings.

'Banyan Garden Clouds' is one of Chengda's top ten scenic spots. The ancient banyan tree, with its flowing beard-like aerial roots and lush canopy, has stood tall at Chengda for over a century. The verdant grass at its feet and the Romanesque Daxing Hall complement each other beautifully, making it a popular location for many advertisements.

Besides the Banyan Garden itself, there are several other attractions nearby, such as the man-made Chenggong Lake, the elegant red-brick Baroque-style buildings, and the remnants of the Xiaoxi Gate and Xiaodong Gate, which are listed as historical monuments.
