A line of poetry hidden in the mountains and forests | Meifeng Ancient Trail

In Nanxi, Tainan's backyard, there's a trail with a poetic name: the Meifeng Ancient Trail.

Away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, just the chirping of insects and birds, and the throbbing heartbeat of the mountains.

The trail undulates between orchards and forests, winding through lush trees, wildflowers, and bamboo groves. Walking beneath the shade of the trees, sunlight filters through the leaves, like a warm light shimmering in memories. The mango orchards and longan forests nearby are Nanxi's most captivating scenery.

Every step feels like stepping into a crack in time, with the occasional shadow of distant mountains drifting in the wind, making you reluctant to blink. This isn't a tourist hotspot, but precisely because of this, it's all the more worthwhile to linger, converse with the mountains and forests, and with yourself.
