Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple, also known as Luermen Tianhou Temple, is the largest Mazu temple in the world.

Located in Tainan City,

This temple dates back to 1661, when it was founded by Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga) after the Dutch were expelled from Taiwan.

The temple's architecture is magnificent and grand, with the Golden Pavilion particularly popular during the Chinese New Year.

In front of the temple are statues of two heavenly generals: Qianliyan and Shunfeng'er, the guardian deities of Mazu.

This temple is a significant historical and cultural site.
