Longquan Town has a flower planting area of ​​more than 20,000 mu and more than 2,000 varieties. The precious varieties include "Angui" named by Emperor Qianlong, Cuilan Pine, Yin Hydrangea, etc. There are nearly 40 flower and tree companies, of which 10 have the second-level greening qualification certificate. It is an ideal transitional training zone for the migration of southern flowers to the north and the transfer of northern flowers to the south. It has been named "National Key Flower Market" and "China's Flower and Tree Hometown" by the State Forestry Administration and the China Flower Association.

The Anyang Wintersweet Garden, with a planned total investment of 5 billion yuan and covering over 1,200 mu (approximately 1,200 mu), will feature 23,000 transplanted wintersweets of over 20 varieties, including red, green, and 2,000 wintersweets, along with over 100,000 trees of 30 other tree species. It is my country's largest wintersweet garden, integrating both ornamental and tourist attractions. The garden, with a planned total investment of 5 billion yuan, will be developed into a cultural industry base integrating cultural industry research and development, themed tourism, business and leisure facilities, and other related supporting facilities, making it the largest cultural tourism project in Henan Province.

The Anyang Wintersweet Garden in China is a scenic spot dedicated to plum culture. Wintersweet, also known as fragrant plum and yellow flower plum, belongs to the genus Wintersweet, family Chimonaceae. It typically blooms in the twelfth month of winter, offering a fragrant aroma and earning it the nickname "winter sweetness." Wintersweet flowers are mostly yellow, with waxy petals, hence the name. The garden boasts varieties like the pristine white Jade Butterfly Plum, the green-calyx Plum with flowers resembling jasper and emerald green, the delicately rosy Palace Pink Plum, the rouge-like Vermilion Plum, the rich, inky Black Plum, and the Wandering Dragon Plum, whose branches twist like a swimming dragon. The scenic area is themed around the four seasons of "spring, summer, autumn and winter". The east-west roads on the central axis of the park are dominated by "spring" scenery, which is called Forsythia Valley; the east-west roads at the entrance are dominated by "summer" scenery, which is called Rose Valley; the area around the reservoir at the highest point of the park is dominated by "autumn" scenery, with torch and red-leafed photinia planted, called Red Hill; the south side of the park is dominated by "winter" scenery, and evergreen vegetation is planted as production land, called Evergreen Valley.

In winter, the garden is full of pure white jade butterfly plums, green calyx plums with flowers like jasper and calyx like emerald, palace pink plums with light makeup, cinnabar plums with drops of rouge, black plums as bright as ink, and dragon plums with branches and stems winding like a swimming dragon. They all bloom in competition with each other, and the whole garden is fragrant and attractive, filled with the sweetness of winter.
