Tainan Madou Dai Tian Temple

A visit to Tainan's Madou district wouldn't be complete without stopping by Dai Tian Temple. This is the largest temple in Madou and the second-largest in Tainan in terms of land area.

One of its most unique features is the opportunity to explore the 'Eighteen Levels of Hell' and 'Heaven' (admission ticket required 🎫). Inside, you'll find displays depicting the legendary appearances of hell and heaven, which are truly distinctive. Exiting from the hell section leads you to the dragon's head area, where you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the entire temple—an absolutely breathtaking sight!
