Wanpi World is truly a hidden gem of a zoo in Southern Taiwan! Its semi-open design allows visitors to interact up close with many docile animals, such as capybaras, alpacas, and kangaroos. This level of personal connection is rarely found in other zoos. You can buy grass to feed the animals, and seeing them excitedly flock around you is truly soothing. Besides animals, the park also features some simple rides and a water play area, perfect for bringing children to let off steam. While the commute from downtown Tainan can be a bit long, it's definitely worth a visit. It's especially recommended for those who love animals and want to experience them up close and personal; you'll have a truly enjoyable time here.
