Taipei 101, the symbol of Taipei

You'd be remiss not to visit Taipei 101 if you were to visit!

Being close to Taipei 101 feels like being in Seoul, a feeling that's both exotic and familiar.

Taipei 101:
- Buy tickets online in advance
- The 89th floor ticket is sufficient
- Arrive at sunset and take a timelapse
- If you're looking for a great viewpoint of Taipei 101,
→ Xiangshan Observatory (hillside/30-minute walk)
You only need to know these four things!

If you're fit and don't mind a bit of hiking,
I highly recommend Xiangshan Observatory.

As soon as you step onto the 89th floor, a beam projector will project onto your face, making it seem as if the stars are right beneath your feet. The constant movement can cause some dizziness (motion sickness).

After purchasing your tickets online, you'll need to exchange them for branch tickets at the ticket booth. There's a separate line for online reservations, so it saves a lot of time. Definitely buy it! You don't have to take photos in the line, so just say no and walk through.👍🏻
