Introduction: The Taipei Confucius Temple, also known as the Dalongdong Confucius Temple, is a Confucius Temple located in Baoan Village, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan, adjacent to the Dalongdong Baoan Temple. It was planned in 1925 during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan to replace the Taipei Confucian Temple. The building covers an area of ​​about 4,000 square meters. Construction began in 1927 and was completed in 1939. The building is in Quanzhou style, with Wang Yishun as the chief engineer, and was listed as a municipal historic site in the 1990s. During the Autumn Sacrifice Ceremony on Teachers' Day on September 28th of the Gregorian calendar, government officials would send representatives to offer sacrifices and perform Yi dances that imitated the Ming Dynasty system.
