A leisurely stroll through the vast grounds 💛 Changing of the guard ceremony and a giant bronze statue

📍National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a 6-minute train ride from Taipei, and is located right next to the station, so it's very easy to get to!

During the day, it is crowded with tourists, school trip students, and excursions, so if you go in the morning, there will be fewer people and it is recommended to go in the morning if you want to take photos.

The changing of the guard seems to take place every hour from 9am, and when I went, the soldiers were wearing white uniforms, so I think they were probably navy personnel.

[How to tell them apart]
Army → Green
Navy → White in summer, dark navy in winter
Air Force → Blue

It seems to have been built with the Lincoln Memorial in mind, and it seems to use the same large ruins, so it might be fun to compare them♪
