Taipei's hidden attractions: Experience the good old days in Bopiliao

The #Bopiliao Historic District in Wanhua was once an important commercial street in Wanhua City during the Qing Dynasty. It is also one of the few historical districts in Taipei that still retains the style from the Qing Dynasty to the Japanese colonial period. Characterized by red brick street houses, the arcades, arches, and wooden window frames on both sides of the street still retain the old style. Strolling through the winding alleys is like walking into the time theater of old Taipei and feeling the urban atmosphere of a hundred years ago.

Today, Bopiliao is not only a historical site, but also a venue for cultural and artistic exchanges. Exhibitions, handcraft workshops, street art and other activities are regularly held here, cleverly blending historical buildings with modern creativity. The movie "Monga" was also filmed here, making Bopiliao a pilgrimage site for nostalgic movie fans in Taipei.

This place not only retains the original street style of Taipei, but also constantly injects new cultural vitality. It is really beautiful every time I come here!!! If you also like nostalgic atmosphere, historical buildings, or want to experience the oldest appearance of Taipei, the Bopiliao Historic District is definitely a place worth stopping by.
