Although the Herbarium is not big, it has rich contents and is suitable for people who like plants. It is also recommended for people who go to the botanical garden or nearby to stop by and take a look.
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities:
As a graduate of the College of Life Sciences, I can guarantee that the exhibits in this herbarium are very well set up, and the general public can easily understand the process of plant ecological research.
I also really like the atmosphere inside. There are interactive audio-visual displays in the museum, and there are many clever designs. For example, there are specimens in the iron cabinets, and you can look inside through the small gaps. It is a very special way of exhibition. The museum is divided into exhibition areas on the first and second floors. The environment is clean and bright, and it is worth taking the time to appreciate it carefully🥰.
The most important thing is that it has air conditioning, which is very suitable for going to the botanical garden for exercise and walking in the summer, and then going inside to visit and enjoy some air conditioning.
This is also the first botanical museum in Taiwan, which displays plant specimens and historical traces over the past century. The Herba Art Museum was built in 1924. It was originally the Herba Art Museum of the Forestry Department of the Central Research Institute of the Governor-General's Office. It is the birthplace of forestry research and plant resource surveys in Taiwan. There are enthusiastic volunteer teachers in the museum who introduce the collection, history, building structure and specimen preparation methods.
🕰️Business hours:

9:30-16:30 on the first floor, 9:30-11:30 and 12:30-16:30 on the second floor,
Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and national holidays.
[ Free admission ]👍
The space is comfortable and the content is rich, it is definitely worth a visit.
