Taiwan. My Home-Children's Discovery Exhibition

This visit to the Children's Discovery Exhibition felt like entering a small world full of stories and surprises. The exhibition takes children to know Taiwan in an interesting way, from its natural environment to its cultural history. It is divided into six major themes, allowing everyone to learn about Taiwan’s diversity through observation, interaction and games.

"Stones Can Talk" introduces Taiwan's landforms and fossils. It turns out that a stone can hide so many stories! The "Forest Amusement Park" takes us to explore the journey of seeds, the survival skills of insects, and the different eating habits of animals, and learn ecological knowledge through specimens and games.

"Island Tour for Migratory Birds" allows us to learn about the Black-faced Spoonbill and other migratory birds, and understand how they migrate and adapt to the environment. "Once Upon a Time on an Island" shows the understanding and respect of different cultures for nature through the myths and living habits of the indigenous peoples.

In “Outlines of the Island,” children can hear the sounds of whales and learn about Taiwan’s connection to the world. The last one, “Endless Life”, uses interactive art installations to allow children to create by themselves and experience the continuation and change of life.

This exhibition is not only an accumulation of knowledge, but also an interesting journey of exploration. Through stories, specimens and interactive experiences, children can get closer to Taiwan’s nature and culture, and learn to appreciate the unique beauty of this island!
