Taipei Regent ｜ Experience Traditional Luxury

It has been 7 years since my last visit to Taipei
This time, I revisited the place with excitement and trepidation, booking the same hotel as last time
The Taipei Regent opened in 1990 and was renovated in 2013

The hotel is located in the Zhongzheng business district, one of the oldest and most traditional areas in Taipei
Nearby is Chifeng Street, which has become very popular among young people in recent years
And in my opinion, the best Ningxia Night Market is also nearby
Right across the lobby is the century-old, highly sought-after Wulao Hot Pot
👍 Hotel Interior
The bed is very comfortable with a firm mattress, which is particularly friendly for those with back and neck pain
The thick-soled slippers are great, different from the thin-soled slippers of traditional hotels, giving a sense of stability
It is worth mentioning that the matching desk and chair are Herman Miller, which is very suitable for those who work overtime
The front desk and room service are excellent, and the breakfast is quite delicious
There is a three-story mall downstairs with almost all major brands, including Hermes, Chanel, Harry Winston, Chaumet, etc., making it possible to shop without leaving the hotel
💪 Drawbacks
As an old hotel, the corridors and rooms have the smell of an old building, so those sensitive to smells should choose carefully
Overall, the stay experience is good, and the cost performance is excellent💯
