Strolling through the Bopiliao Historical District, you will see well-preserved Qing Dynasty street houses, each brick and tile of which tells the story of Taipei’s past. This was once a bustling commercial district, but now it has been transformed into a cultural park, where exhibitions and activities provide an in-depth understanding of the city’s history. Then we went to Longshan Temple in Wanjia. This century-old temple is the religious center of Taipei. It is very popular and believers pray devoutly, making people feel the strong religious atmosphere.

Watching tourists concentrating on appreciating the exhibitions in the neighborhood, or believers praying quietly in Longshan Temple, I can't help but sigh that this journey is not only an exploration of history, but also a baptism of the soul. Bopiliao and Lungshan Temple allow people to find tranquility and depth amidst the hustle and bustle of Taipei.
