Monga Longshan Temple - A witness to Taipei's history 🌟

#Taipei Attractions

Amid the hustle and bustle of Taipei, there is a place where one can feel the passage of time and the depth of culture, and that is Longshan Temple in Monga. This temple is not only a center of religious belief, but also a witness to Taipei's history. ✨

I chose to take the MRT to Longshan Temple Station, where transportation is very convenient. Every time I step out of the station, I can feel a sacred atmosphere coming towards me. The temple is open from 5 am to 10 pm. No matter when you visit, you can feel the devotion and enthusiasm of the believers.

When I walked into the temple, the scene before me stunned me! The colorful temple decorations and the bustling crowds of people make you feel the spirituality and vitality of this place. 🙏🏻I can't help but sigh that it's so busy here, yet it makes people feel calm. Every believer was praying for their wishes, and this atmosphere moved me to tears.

The Longshan Temple in Mengjia was built in 1738 and has a history of more than two hundred years. It is dedicated to the Bodhisattva Guanyin and is a place where many people find spiritual sustenance. As I gazed at the majestic statue of Bodhisattva, my heart was filled with awe and emotion. Imagining the countless believers praying devoutly here for hundreds of years made me think of the power of faith.

Here, I feel not only the solemnity of religion, but also the weight of history and the warmth of human feelings. The food stalls around the temple also made me linger, tasting the authentic Taiwanese food, it was truly an enjoyment for my body, mind and soul! 🍜

This trip to Longshan Temple allowed me to better understand Taiwan’s culture and beliefs, and also allowed me to find spiritual comfort in my busy life. In the future, I will come back here again, pray to Guanyin Bodhisattva, and feel the spiritual energy that belongs to Monga. 💖

Such a wonderful experience makes me cherish every trip more, and I hope that every traveler can find his or her own touch in Monga Longshan Temple. ✈️
