On Saturday afternoon, after sending my son to piano lesson, I had some rare time for myself. My husband and I decided to go on a relaxing afternoon date by bike. Cycling leisurely along Xinsheng South Road, the breeze brings the scent of the warm March sun. Such an afternoon is especially suitable for rewarding yourself with some desserts.

Although the name of this shop sounds like it specializes in taro, it actually also has a variety of desserts such as raw milk boxes and Basque cakes. Of course, I have also eaten its signature taro mochi box many times. The small shop is located near National Taiwan University, with not many seats, and a lot of people order takeout. When we entered the shop, it happened to be afternoon tea time, and there were quite a lot of people. Fortunately, we were lucky enough and a large seat near the window was released.
