#Taipei Itinerary
This city, which combines ancient history with modern vitality, has both the ancient flavor hidden in the old streets and alleys and the trendy blocks flashing with neon lights. Today, I will take you on a two-day tour of Taipei. We will take you to the top of Elephant Mountain to overlook the beautiful city view, walk through the literary corners of the Red House in Ximen, listen to the leisurely Buddhist chants at Lungshan Temple, and finally rush to Tamsui to encounter the romantic afterglow of Fort San Domingo.
Day 1
Go to the Ximen Red House, which is a cultural landmark in Taipei. There are many creative shops, art exhibitions and performances, where you can feel the cultural atmosphere of Taipei.
Evening: Go to Longshan Temple to appreciate the architectural beauty of the temple and feel the religious and cultural atmosphere. Afterwards, try some delicious food at the nearby night market, such as large intestine wrapped in small intestine, dice beef, etc.
the next day
Morning: Go to Elephant Mountain and hike up the Elephant Mountain Trail. The scenery along the way is beautiful. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can overlook the beautiful city scenery including Taipei 101. It is a great place to take photos and check in.
Noon: Have lunch near Xiangshan Mountain. You can choose a simple meal or local specialties.
Afternoon: Go to Tamsui and visit Fort San Domingo, an ancient castle that has witnessed the historical changes of Tamsui. Then stroll around Tamsui Old Street and try special snacks such as A Gei and Tie Dan. You can also take a walk along the Tamsui River and enjoy the river view.
