The Essence of Academia: Capturing Moments at NTU

Tonight, I’m staying at Eslite Hotel in Taipei, a design hotel located in the Xinyi District that combines a bookstore with accommodations, making it a haven for literary enthusiasts and travelers alike. Outside the window lies the modern scenery of Taipei 101 and the Taipei Dome, while the interior exudes poetic charm. Picking a book from the shelves and carrying a sense of curiosity, I head to today’s destination—National Taiwan University.
Strolling along the Royal Palm Boulevard, the interplay of red-brick buildings and tree shadows creates a picturesque scene, with students bustling amidst the aroma of books. The main library stands like a tranquil pool of thought, while the greenhouse botanical garden is lush with greenery. The most delightful surprise is by the Fu Garden pond, where a few students are playing music and singing for fun, turning the campus into a gentle melody of youth. Returning to Eslite Hotel, I jot down the memories of the day under the book wall. The knowledge and romance of this city have quietly taken root in my heart.
