Taiwan's retro, historic wholesale district [Dihua Street Shopping District]

It's about a 20-minute walk from Taiwan Station and about a 10-minute walk from Beimen Station, one stop away.

The historic wholesale district of Dihua Street is lined with dried fruit and herbal medicine shops.

Because it's a historic wholesale district, the retro feel gives it a nostalgic feel similar to old Japan.

It will take about 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other looking at souvenirs.

In addition to the main street, there are various shops on the side streets, so I think it's a good tourist spot to take a leisurely stroll and take a break at a cafe or shaved ice shop when you get tired.

You can also buy original Taiwanese delicacy [karasumi] (handmade at each store) at a great price around here, so when I go to Taiwan, I stop here at the end and buy some karasumi to take home. 😄

📍Location: Dihua Street Commercial Area
