Views and Green Dreams at MatCha Mountain

#chinatravel Took on 聖母山莊抹茶山 (MatCha Mountain near Shengmu Mountain Lodge) in New Taipei City and wow, this place is something else. The hike up is definitely a challenge but totally worth it if you’re into crazy cool views and that famous green mossy vibe that gives it the MatCha nickname.

The trail gets steep and muddy in spots, so be ready to get a little dirty and work for it. But once you hit the top, the views are next level. You’re surrounded by lush greenery that looks like it’s straight out of a fantasy movie.

Saw a bunch of hikers all hyped about the view, snapping photos and just soaking it in. Bring snacks, water, and good shoes because you’ll need them.

If you’re in New Taipei City and want a hike that’s a bit tough but ends with jaw dropping scenery, MatCha Mountain near Shengmu Mountain Lodge is a must-do. Totally worth the sweat!
