Discovering the Golden Charm of Tongluo's Chrysanthemum Fields

#chinatravel If you happen to be in Miaoli County around November, definitely check out the chrysanthemum season in Tongluo. The fields are stunning and filled with white and yellow blossoms stretching out as far as the eye can see. It is peaceful, beautiful, and just the right kind of slow travel vibe.

There are little stalls around the area selling chrysanthemum tea and snacks. Some are better than others, but it is fun to try them all. I found one vendor who brewed their own tea right there. Super fresh and not overly sweet like the bottled ones.

Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, so go early or try a weekday if you can. It is not huge so you will not need hours to explore, but it is a great spot to relax and take some nice photos.

Perfect for a quick getaway from the city without needing a big plan or ticket. Worth it.
