Jinyang Lake Park is located in Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, and is the largest water park in North China. It is connected to Xinjinci Road in the east, Fengyugou in the south, Taifen Road in the west, and Yeyu River in the north. The park covers an area of 9.348 square kilometers, with a garden landscape area of 3.11 square kilometers. It was formerly known as Jinyang Lake, which was built in 1958 and was once the circulating water pool of Taiyuan No. 1 Thermal Power Plant. After renovation in 2019, it was reopened as a comprehensive urban park integrating natural scenery, leisure and entertainment, and historical culture. 

Travel guide

- Transportation: You can take bus No. 76, 310, etc. and get off at Xinjinci Road Huanhu East Road Station, or take bus No. 308, 858 and get off at Binhu Street Station; you can drive directly to the underground parking lot in each area of the park.
- Activities: You can enjoy the sunshine and beach at the beach bath, and participate in water rollers, inflatable obstacle courses, and other activities; you can also choose a boat tour to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery; you can also watch the large-scale water live performance "Dreamlike Jinyang" to experience the Jinyang culture.
- Food: You can go to Blooming Thai to taste exquisite Thai food, or you can taste various special snacks at the snack market on the east bank of Jinyang Lake.
- Notes: The park is large, so you can choose the nearest gate to enter the park according to your destination; some vending machines and kiosks in the park may be damaged, the vending machines near the two viewing platforms have a full range of drinks, and the kiosks near the North Gate 1 have snacks and instant noodles.
