Located in the heart of Huangyan City, this Confucius Temple Garden is a must-visit when in Huangyan.
A red wall stands at the corner of the street at the entrance to the garden, with the characters "Huangyan" written in white on it.
This is a cultural landmark where visitors rush to take photos.
Inside and outside the gate of the Confucius Temple Garden, most of the people sitting and standing are elderly, making it feel like a park for seniors.
I visited during the Lantern Festival.
Many lanterns decorated the temple gates, both inside and out.
Originally built in the Tang Dynasty, this garden has suffered several fires and wind disasters and was rebuilt several times during the Qing Dynasty.
The garden is small; you can walk through it in a few minutes.
However, it is also an important place that records the Confucian culture of Taizhou.
