                    Zhashui County is located in southern Shaanxi Province, on the southern slopes of the Qinling Mountains, 70 kilometers from Xi'an. The county administers ten towns and six townships. The terrain slopes downward from northwest to southeast, rising from high in the northwest to low in the southeast.
