Who can resist! This ultimate guide to autumn in Taizhou is a must-read!

Hey everyone! I just got back from Taizhou last week, and the autumn sea, ancient temples, and islands left me speechless! I've compiled 14 personally tested, fail-proof photo spots and stayed at the surprisingly delightful Nice Bo Yue Hotel. Just copy this guide, and you won't need to think twice about your Taizhou trip!

✨14 Must-Visit Autumn Photo Spots (with navigation links + my personal tips!)

1️⃣ Dui Jie Viewing Platform (search directly in navigation)
Who can resist! Climbing the platform in autumn is not hot at all! Looking back, you’ll see a gradient blue sea, and the cool breeze is so refreshing. The highlight is the abandoned green train under the platform! I went at 3 PM, and the slanting autumn sunlight on the green train gave it a vintage vibe. You can also overlook the autumn houses of Shitang Town—absolutely stunning!

2️⃣ Xiaoru Village Qilin Mountain (search directly in navigation)
A must-visit for sunset lovers! Autumn sunsets are softer than summer ones, with warm orange hues spilling over the colorful village, like bringing Cinque Terre to Jiangnan. I stayed until 5:30 PM, enjoying the autumn breeze while waiting for the sunset. Every casual phone shot turned out to be wallpaper-worthy!

3️⃣ Guoqing Temple (search directly in navigation)
A free-entry 5A ancient temple! Visiting in autumn is full of Zen vibes. I went in late October when the ancient ginkgo trees started turning yellow. Fallen leaves covered the stone paths, and the red walls and black tiles paired with the incense smoke created a perfect backdrop for traditional-style photos. It’s quiet and uncrowded!

4️⃣ Tongxuan Temple (search directly in navigation)
A hidden gem temple featured by Liu Shishi! Nestled in Tiantai Mountain, it’s even quieter in autumn. Walking on the stone steps surrounded by autumn woods, with sunlight filtering through the leaves, the photos turned out ethereal. If you love tranquility, don’t miss this spot!

5️⃣ Tiantai Shebude Guesthouse (search directly in navigation)
You don’t need to stay here to take photos! In autumn, the courtyard is covered with fallen leaves. The combination of stone slabs, wooden eaves, and stone lanterns feels like stepping into an old Jiangnan painting. I wore a Hanfu for the shoot, and my friends said it looked like I traveled back in time!

🏨 Accommodation Highlight: Nice Bo Yue Hotel! A hidden gem that everyone raves about

This time, I stayed at the Nice Bo Yue Hotel, and I’m already planning a second visit!

💡My Autumn Taizhou Tips

• Outfit: 15-25°C, wear light sweatshirts + windbreakers. It’s windy by the sea, so bring a scarf (it doubles as a photo prop!)

• Avoid: Don’t visit Dachen Island on weekends! I went on a Wednesday, and it was so empty I had the lighthouse to myself. I heard weekends are crowded with long queues.
