Shikoku Pilgrimage + Seto Inland Sea Cycling Tour

DAY 32:
It’s the last night on the pilgrimage, a journey of nearly 2,000 kilometers to 108 spiritual sites. Tomorrow we will arrive at Dawa Temple to make a vow with Master Kobo. We thought the goal was very far away, but now we are close to the end. Is it a want or a need? The pilgrimage made me think about what is really important in life? When my desires were reduced to zero, I found that the space in a backpack is enough to carry all the happiness. The real freedom is the freedom of the heart. Don't be discouraged if you can't do it. Be happy for yourself. Setting too many restrictions on life is the most boring thing. Completing the pilgrimage does not mean the end of the journey. Although there is no little red man to guide you on the road of life, only you can decide the future direction.

P.S. Today’s weather was the worst I’ve ever encountered on my pilgrimage. It rained all day. On the way to the 82nd Genkoji Temple, it was already 1 p.m. and the mountain road was still rainy. The fog was thick and there were trees on both sides. Just when I was tired, cold and hungry, I suddenly saw a "Daocao Coffee House" with a sign hanging at the door saying "Open for Business". The owners were originally an old couple who had been A shop opened here, specializing in providing hot meals for pilgrims passing by. After the grandfather passed away a few years ago, only the grandmother is left to run the shop. I ordered a grilled rice and an onden, a total of ¥800, I spent very little money and was very satisfied. The old lady asked me which country I was from and gave me a small sticker to stick on the world map. Each sticker represented a pilgrim who had visited this store and been entertained by the owner. After saying goodbye to the old lady, I continued my pilgrimage with full energy.
