[A mysterious, twisted building]

A new landmark opened on the summit of Mt. Yashima in 2022.

Constructed to match the terrain, this approximately 200-meter corridor-style facility features unique undulating and curved lines.

The facility's glass walls create an open feel, and the roof tiles are made of Aji stone, whose color changes with the light.

Enjoy a stroll through the courtyard, which blends in with the surrounding natural environment.

From the observation deck, you can enjoy views of Takamatsu city and the Seto Inland Sea's many islands.

The facility also features an exhibition space featuring panoramic artwork themed around the Genpei War, as well as a cafe corner offering sweets featuring Yashima's raccoon dog.

Souvenirs, including cookies jointly developed by a local confectionery manufacturer and Kagawa University, are also popular.
