The Qingyun Mountain Jiutian Waterfall Scenic Area, located in Linglu Township, Yongtai County, Fujian Province, is a nationally recognized key scenic spot. The area boasts the spectacular Jiutian Waterfall, Asia's tallest stepped waterfall, with a drop of 588 meters. Other attractions include the Auspicious Waterfall, the Water Curtain Palace, the Lions Emerging from the Cave, the Stone Dragon Triple Gate, the Guanyin Stone, the Golden Monkey Embracing a Peach, the Fishing Pond, the Yujing Community, the Xiantan Community, and the Water Curtain Corridor.
The scenic area is famous for its waterfalls and huge rocks. The Nine-fold Water Curtain, Rainbow Waterfall, Water Curtain Palace, Goddess Peak, Acacia Rock, Lion King Peak, Squirrel Rock and other places have unique beautiful scenery. The scenic area has high mountains, lush forests, misty clouds, and many strange rocks, secluded valleys, clear springs and waterfalls.
