Takamatsu Castle has been transformed into a park

#9月好去2025
In the morning, I visited Kotohira-gu Shrine and in the afternoon, I visited Takamatsu Castle. Takamatsu Castle's moat draws water directly from the Seto Inland Sea, making it one of Japan's remaining "water castles." It's now open to the public as Tamamo Park, with free admission. The park houses important cultural assets, is not crowded, and the grounds are well-maintained. After leaving Takamatsu Castle, we headed to Takamatsu Port. The art installation at the port, featuring two particularly tall pillars, was quite impressive.
