Japan|High Mountain Culture Tour "Hida Kokubunji"

#GlobalTravel

When heading towards Gaoshan Old Street
I saw a three-story pagoda and was attracted to it.

It turned out to be Hida Kokubunji Temple
National historical sites and important cultural heritage

The temple is home to a 1,200-year-old ginkgo tree and a three-story pagoda.
It's really beautiful when it snows.
The prayer board of Kokubunji Temple is placed at the main gate
There is no ema for praying here
Instead, there are many red Hida dolls hanging.
It is said that this Hida doll has the functions of good luck, health, perfection, smooth delivery, and warding off evil spirits.
The concept of a universal amulet
Therefore, the same dolls are sold in the shopping streets around Takayama.

In addition to the three-story pagoda,
The garden and the bell tower are very nice to take pictures
Compared to Takayama Old Street, I think this place is more suitable for taking kimono photos
Take a look inside when you pass by
