Hida Takayama is far from downtown Nagoya
It takes about 3 hours by bus
In order to participate in the local 📍 morning market

🚌Take the express bus from Nagoya at 7:30
🌟There will be a rest stop along the way where you can go to the toilet
About 10 minutes
🌟Be sure to buy a round trip ticket! Buy your tickets early to avoid being left out and it’s cheaper

📍Morning Market sells food, agricultural products and handmade small items
The whole street is not big, and I finished it in 30 minutes.
🌟You must go before 11:00. It will be closed when the time is up.
Many are sold out.

📍Taste of Heaven
A well-reviewed BBQ restaurant!
Because this is a famous place where high-quality Wagyu beef is produced.
It was still early when we went, there was no queue and not many people..
I felt a bit greasy after eating it...
It is recommended to order a set meal
(Or go directly to the old street to have a bite)

📍 Gaoshan Old Street District
It is also recommended to come early~~
There is also Hida beef sushi sold here~~
Many are sold out after noon.
You can also try the wine brewed

The pace is quite slow, and you can actually finish the tour in half a day.
I think we can arrange a half-day trip to Takayama and Hida, and then stay nearby in Kamikochi~~
Because we felt it was a bit of a waste of time to go back to downtown Nagoya in the afternoon (6 hours round trip)
