🇯🇵 You must go to the Northern Alps Cable Car together with Hida Takayama🚡

The Shin-Hotaka Cable Car is a must-visit attraction at an altitude of 2,156 meters in Hida Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. It is located in Okuhida Onsen Village and overlooks the Northern Alps 🚡! The Shinhotaka Cable Car is the only double-decker cable car in Japan. It is divided into two sections, with the highest reaching Nishihotakaguchi Station. From the top of the mountain you can have a 360-degree view of the Northern Alps including Yarigake.

The scenery is different in each season. I want to go again because I encountered thick fog at the end of March and couldn't see anything. It was completely white. The cable car was like entering a pile of clouds. It is recommended to check the official website live broadcast and change the itinerary in case of bad weather.

There are 2 restaurants at the top of the mountain. The Hida beef buns and Belgian ice cream are surprisingly delicious😋! ! You can visit Takayama and Shirakawa-go together!
