Khao Tapu (James Bond Island), Ao Phang Nga National Park

Khao Tapu is a major tourist attraction in Phang Nga Province, renowned worldwide for being the filming location for the James Bond 007 movie "The Man with the Golden Gun."
Originally part of an island, the island was eroded by waves, leaving it as a prominent rocky island with a narrow base and a larger top. It is located 15 kilometers from Ao Phang Nga National Park.
It is mostly populated by tourists, and there are souvenir shops selling pearl jewelry. The park entrance fee is 60 baht for adults and 30 baht for children. The beautiful location offers numerous photo opportunities and great content creation. The water is crystal clear and suitable for swimming. Most tourists are swimming there. On our visit, we chartered a longtail boat, with a package that included four attractions, including Khao Tapu. The boat ride to Khao Tapu was quite long, but the natural scenery around the island made it feel like a short journey. There are some stairs along the way, so be careful. If you're in Phang Nga, consider stopping by to appreciate the natural beauty at Check out Khao Tapu.
