This island is shaped like a huge rock stuck in the sea at the mouth of Phang Nga Bay, resembling a giant nail driven deep into the water🔨, so it is called "Khao Tapu".

The name "James Bond Island" comes from the James Bond movie 🕵️♂️ The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) which was filmed on this island, making it known to tourists all over the world. I came to see it with my own eyes, and I can tell you that it is truly beautiful, no lie.
