[Taiwan, Taipei] Starlux Airlines airport lounge ☕️

Currently, there is only one Starlux Airlines-owned lounge, located in Terminal 1 at Taoyuan International Airport.

It's called the "GALACTIC LOUNGE" 🪐

Starlux Airlines (Staryu Airlines) has space-themed names, not only for the company name, but also for the lounge and frequent flyer program.

Galactic Lounge stands for "Intergalactic Lounge" 🥸
By the way, the star in the company logo represents the North Star ☝️

I was determined to make the most of my premium membership while I still had the lounge.

After checking in, I arrived with high spirits. 💨
The interior was quite compact, and perhaps due to limited seating, I was shown to my seat by a staff member.

There were some empty seats for the 11:00 a.m. flight,

but I'm a little worried that everyone might not be able to find a seat during the morning rush hour when departures are concentrated. 🫤

The food and drink section also seemed a bit cramped.

However, there were many carefully crafted menu items,

and I felt the high quality. 👍
In a way, it's great that the variety is limited yet the satisfaction is high! The drink selection was sophisticated, even including non-alcoholic options.
I couldn't try everything in one go, so I'm looking forward to my next visit. 😊

In addition to the buffet, they also offer a made-to-order menu. 📖
On this day, I enjoyed three dishes: a soy milk set from Taipei's famous Fuhang Soy Milk,
a bacon and egg bagel, and
Starlux Airlines' special ramen.
Of course, I chose the soy milk, enjoying the local flavors during my short stay in Taipei. 😋

It's no match for the massive lounges of major airlines,
but it's a lounge filled with little sparkles. 💫
