Its original surface area was approximately 80 square kilometers. Its current surface area is 600 meters wide from east to west and 3,110 meters long from north to south. It is located in Zhenhu Township, southwest of Xiji County, 38 kilometers from the county seat. The lake's waters are crystal clear, with reeds swaying in the breeze. Surrounded by verdant mountains and deep valleys, it is praised by scholars as "the beauty of Shahu in the north and the wonder of Zhenhu in the south."
