Taoyuan - Shimen Reservoir

1. Boat Tour: Depart from the dam top pier or Amuping pier to enjoy the canyon and islands in the lake.
2. Stroll and Sightseeing at the Dam Top: Walk along the dam top to the flood observation platform for views of the lake on both sides and the flood discharge spectacle.
3. Flower and Maple Viewing: Admire plum blossoms and cherry blossoms in spring, and red maples in autumn.
4. Cycling/Hiking: The lakeside road is perfect for cycling, and there are trails leading to places like Xizhou Park.
5. Photography Spots: Songtai and elevated viewpoints are the best locations for capturing the S-shaped dam top and stunning mountain-lake scenery.
🚗 Transportation and Ticket Information
• By Car: Exit at Longtan Interchange on National Highway No. 3, then take County Road 113 for about 9 km.
• Public Transport: Take Taoyuan Bus 5050 or 5055 to Shimen Station, or the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" Cihu Line to Dam Top Station.
