2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival

2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival to be held in Taoyuan from February 12 (Wednesday) to February 23 (Sunday), featuring the theme "Light Connects a Thousand Ponds in Taoyuan." The event combines family-friendly, cultural, and technological elements to create a spectacular light and shadow feast.

📍 Exhibition Venues and Schedule

The festival will feature two main exhibition areas:
1. Main Lantern Display Area (A18 Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station Plaza)
• Showcasing the main lantern "Infinite Paradise Island," standing 18 meters tall and incorporating AI and motion capture technology for dynamic visual effects.
• Exhibition Dates: February 12 to February 23
• Opening Hours: Monday to Thursday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Friday to Sunday and February 12 10:00 AM–10:00 PM

2. Playground of Light (A19 Taoyuan Sports Park Station)
• Includes five themed zones: Vitality Glow Station, Youth Light Theater, City Spotlight, Thousand Ponds of Light, and Prosperity Glow.
• Exhibition Period: Trial run starting February 7, officially open from February 12 to February 23

🎨 Featured Zones and Themes
• Main Lantern "Infinite Paradise Island": Symbolizing Taoyuan's infinite possibilities, blending baseball culture and its role as an international transportation hub.
• Anime Collaboration Zone: Featuring partnerships with "Pokémon," "Attack on Titan," and "MapleStory," with giant lantern installations and interactive exhibits.
• Family Interaction Zone: Multiple lantern areas themed around family and games, suitable for visitors of all ages.

🎭 Activities and Programs
• Opening and Closing Ceremonies: Opening on February 12 and closing on February 23, with numerous exciting performances scheduled in between.
• Daily Main Show: From February 13 to February 22, a different themed performance will be held each day.

• MRT: Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT to A18 Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station or A19 Taoyuan Sports Park Station.
