📍Spot Introduction
1️⃣ Daxi Old Tea Factory 🍃
This renovated tea factory, originally built during the Japanese colonial period, offers a glimpse into the history of Taiwan's tea culture. Its classical architecture and tranquil atmosphere allow you to experience the history of Taiwan's tea culture. We also recommend relaxing at the factory's exhibits and cafe.
2️⃣ Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park 🗿
This park, themed around Chiang Kai-shek, offers a unique landscape featuring a collection of statues of Chiang Kai-shek from various eras. This spot, along with the lakeside scenery, offers an opportunity to reflect on Taiwan's modern history.
3️⃣ Daxi Old Street 🏘️
A historic shopping street lined with red-brick Baroque-style buildings.
Stroll along the street and sample the city's specialty, dried tofu (a processed tofu product), and enjoy local sweets. The retro townscape is perfect for photos. 📸
🚶 Access
・Train from Taipei to Taoyuan Station (approximately 40 minutes). 🚆
・Take the bus from Taoyuan Station to Daxi Old Street and the Old Tea Factory (approximately 30-40 minutes). 🚌
・All three spots are located in the Daxi area, and can be easily accessed by taxi or bus.
