The grand beauty of nature

From the sea-level county of Toksun, after three days of trekking, we finally reached the highest county in Xinjiang by altitude—Tashkurgan County.
Tashkurgan County is one of the places with snow-capped peaks over 8000 meters above sea level. It is home to peaks such as Qogir, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum II, and Gasherbrum I.
Driving more than 300 kilometers along the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway, one can see many snow mountains along the way, including Kongur Tagh, Muztagh Ata, and other stunning landscapes like the Pamir White Sand Lake, Karakul Lake, and the Tashkurgan Wetland.
