I usually use my car, but I was scared of driving in the middle of winter in snowy country, so this time I traveled by bus.

There are various restrictions, but you can get around easily, so even if you're not confident with your car, I recommend sightseeing in Aomori City.

The Aomori Museum of Art can be reached only by bus, so it's a perfect place for people who can't drive.

The museum exhibits many works by artists with ties to Aomori, such as Yoshitomo Nara and Shiko Munakata.

The exhibits were quite spacious, so I was able to enjoy the art at my own pace.

The museum also has a cafe and gift shop.

The apple pie at the cafe is delicious, so I recommend it.

Be sure to stop by between viewing the art.
