📍Susaki Shrine

This is the shrine where Minamoto no Yoritomo, who fled to Awa after losing the Ishibashiyama Battle, prayed for victory.

It is worshipped as the guardian deity of safe childbirth, safe voyages, good catches, bountiful harvests, and good luck.

If you climb the more than 100 stone steps, you can see Mt. Fuji and the sunset over Tokyo Bay from the Hamatorii and Fujimitorii gates in the precincts.
