The fusion of nature and technology - Experience the spectacular water release at Kurobe Dam

A fusion of nature and technology 🌈 Experience the spectacular water discharge at Kurobe Dam

Kurobe Dam, located in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture, is the tallest dam in Japan.
Every year from June 26th to October 15th, a tourist water discharge takes place, where more than 10 tons of water is discharged per second, creating a spectacular view 🌊
I visited on a solo trip, and the view of the water discharge and the Tateyama mountain range from the observation deck took my breath away.
You can sometimes see a rainbow over the water discharge, making it a perfect place for couples to take commemorative photos 📸💑
There are multiple viewing spots, such as the water discharge viewing stage and rainbow terrace, so you can experience different impressions no matter where you look.
This place, where nature and human technology are woven together, is a travel destination that makes you think, "I'm glad I went."
You can enjoy the view and walks for free, so it's also recommended as an "absolutely free trip."
