Snow Adventure in Murodo – Late November
• Access: Start from JR Toyama Station, then take the train, Tateyama Ropeway, and bus to Murodo, which is over 2,400 meters high.
• Weather: Plenty of snow, sub-zero temperatures, and strong winds.
• Trekking on Snow: Deep snow, some areas are slippery, so be careful. However, some areas have soft, smooth snow that's easy to walk on.
• View: During the bus ride, you'll be treated to views of snow-capped mountains contrasting with the surrounding greenery. As you get closer to the top of Tateyama Mountain, the white scenery contrasts with the blue sky, with sunlight reflecting off the snow, making for beautiful photos.
• Recommended Equipment: Layers of clothing, wind protection, non-slip shoes, and sunglasses.
** Generally, the route is open from mid-April to late November. Don't miss this if you enjoy beautiful mountain views.
