[Hokkaido] The only place to visit in winter! Lake Mashu No. 1 Observation Deck

Lake Mashu is one of the most transparent lakes in the world. The bowl-shaped lake can be viewed from an observation deck located around its edge. There are several observation decks, but in winter, only the first observation deck is accessible due to snowfall.

From the first observation deck, you can get a panoramic view of the beautiful Lake Mashu. However, since it is on top of a mountain, it can sometimes be hidden by clouds, so it's all down to luck. The area directly below the observation deck seems to be the territory of deer, and many deer gathered there. However, since they are wild deer, please only view them from a distance. Do not touch or feed them under any circumstances.
