There are very few crowds in Shanghai North Bund, where you can overlook the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Lujiazui Trio across the river. It’s very comfortable for walking and taking photos. You can set your location to North Bund Riverside Green Space, which is a very large promenade. Besides walking, there are also restaurants and the Magic City Matrix.
After entering the North Bund Riverside Green Space, besides walking, you can start looking for photo spots.
Photo check-in spots:
1. Rainbow Bridge: After going up the bridge, you can take photos of the giant dome and the skyscrapers across the river (Photo 3).
2. Under the bridge, you will see a silver giant dome, which is a restaurant. Taking photos from behind the dome with the Oriental Pearl Tower in the background is also a great spot for pictures (Photo 4).
3. Moving forward, you will see the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Lujiazui Trio. The promenade here is also a good place for photos.
4. Walk towards the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, where there is a slope coming out of a parking lot. This is also a photo spot. Shooting from the bottom of the slope upwards can capture the huge Oriental Pearl Tower (cover photo).
Highly recommend coming here; fewer people means a much more comfortable experience. You can also pick a restaurant to enjoy a meal while admiring the beautiful view. If time allows, staying a night here is also highly recommended.
