Tianjin Water Park was originally called Qinglongtan. As a scenic tourist area, its history can be traced back to the early 20th century. It was officially opened to visitors on July 1, 1951, and is known as the 'Little West Lake of the North.'
It is the largest park in Tianjin. It is named Water Park because it consists of three large lakes (East, West, and South) and 11 islands.
Tianjin Water Park is located in the southwest part of Tianjin city. The park was established in 1950 and covers an area of 125 hectares.
Among them, the water area is 75 hectares, the land area is 50 hectares, and the green area reaches 350,000 square meters. With nearly 200 species of garden flowers and trees, it is the largest comprehensive park in Tianjin.
