Dabeichan Temple, the most popular temple in Tianjin.

Address: Dabeichan Temple is located on Tianwei Road, Hebei District, Tianjin. It is the largest and best-preserved Buddhist temple in Tianjin. It consists of two parts: the West Temple and the East Temple. The West Temple, also known as the Old Temple, was built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and expanded in the eighth year of the Kangxi period (1669). It consists of the Cultural Relics Hall and the Abbot's Courtyard. The East Temple, also known as the New Temple, was built in 1940 and consists of the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Hall of Great Compassion, the Hall of Ksitigarbha, the Side Hall, the Ear Room, and the Corridor. It is the main part of the temple.
